EARLY DETECTION AND PREVENTION OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE WITH ACTIVE LEARNING METHOD ON STUDENTS IN NON FORMAL EDUCATION

Abstract

Children are the successor to the nation, now many are perpetrators or victims of sexual violence, which is increasing from year to year. The purpose of this study is to detect and prevent sexual violence with active learning models in students in non-formal education


The research method uses quasi-experimental, using the method of active learning and peer discussion, conducted pre and post tests. Sampling technique is nonprobablity, and the number of samples is 45 non formal students of the Humanisti Foundation


The results of the discussion 83% of the types of sexual violence experienced by some students, and 67% of the perpetrators were identified in the cases experienced. From the questionnaire, the average knowledge about types of sexual violence was 30.7% and 60% before and after training


The average knowledge of sexual offenders is 20% and 44.4% before and after training. Different test results sig p <0.05, there are differences in student feelings, student knowledge about the types and perpetrators of sexual violence, which is better
